Darboes Gambian Cocktails

Chocana: Creamy chocolate, coffee and banana liqueur mixed with
brandy and served with ice cold sweetened condensed milk in a long
glass over ice. Tropical Baileys, the milkshake with a kick.

Choc Minto : Chocolate and mint liqueur mixed with brandy and served with
sweetened condensed milk in a long glass over ice. After Eights with that
little bit extra.

Choc Orange: Chocolate and orange liqueur mixed with brandy and served
with sweetened condensed milk in a long glass over ice. Better than
Terry's

Koffee Kombo: Coffee liqueur mixed with brandy and served with sweetened
condensed milk in a long glass over ice. Tia Maria has nothing on this

Baobab Cream:

Darboes Gambian Cocktails

warm and fiery.

Gambia Restaurant Reviews on Trip Advisor

“Excellent food and best value for money on the strip”

The food here was excellent - fantastic lobster on our last night, with loads of king prawns and sauce, for D550 ( about £11 English money). Steaks succulent. Gambian meals tasted lovely especially Lamb Afra - my partner would say he preferred the peanut dish. Sunday Roast if you are missing a taste of home was also tasty and well cooked by Bas.

Darboe is a great host and staff are friendly. Toilets are very clean.

Bas the evening chef was a great cook. I ate at other places such as Scala which could be pricey (but also good) apart from the lasagne which was yummy and best price on the strip. We ate at Darboes several times as the bill always came to less than D1000 almost every time with at least 3 drinks each. Favourite place to eat and drink in the area. Would love to eat there again one day.

Eat before 9pm though as the drumming from the Wild Monkey is a little to loud to eat with. I promise that you will not be disappointed.
